DESCRIPTION:Introductory Letter for HOWM\nThe purpose of this letter is to introduce the HOWM (Health Outreach for World Missions)\,\nwww.howmissions.org\, which is a non-denominational\, non-profit\, evangelical Christian health organization.\nThe HOWM is dedicated to evangelical Christians focusing on the coordinated delivery of health care to the mission fields\, equipping and training missionaries for providing basic health care\, and supporting health care centers and teams.\nOver the last 10 years\, as a medical team of doctors\, Dr. Won Kyu Cho\, MD\, (Gastrointestinal)\, and Dr. Mi Hae Cho\, MD\, (Pediatric) researched and conducted pilot programs on the way to utilize telehealth/telemedicine (remote health services and training through the internet connection for clinical and non-clinical services\, diagnosis\, and monitoring) to help missionaries and their family members\, staffs\, and even villagers in the remote areas in the mission field. For example\, Drs. Won K Cho\, Mi Hae\nCho\, and a team providing medical equipment to missionaries in Peru as one of the pilot programs last few years.\nThe HOWM believes the Bible is the only infallible\, authoritative Word of God and the Trinity of God (The Father\, The Son\, and The Holy Spirit.) And Lord Jesus Christ has come as a truly human and the God who is the only way of salvation. The HOWM believes in the virgin birth\, sinless life\, atoning death\, resurrection\, and the second coming of Jesus Christ.
